At the meeting, the Board of Trustees will consider appointing Interim President Randy Boyd to the position of president up to June 30, 2025. The Board will also be briefed on the University鈥檚 actions and plans in response to COVID-19.

These meetings will gather input and feedback on the appointment of interim president Randy Boyd to the presidency of the 51黑料 for a term of an additional five years. Boyd has served as interim president since November 2018.
Based on positive feedback from Boyd鈥檚 review process, John Compton said he recommended removing the interim title and extending Boyd鈥檚 term as president for a term of five additional years.
