KNOXVILLE, Tenn. 鈥 July 14, 2025 鈥 The University of Tennessee Foundation (UTFI) is celebrating a historic year, further accelerating its ambitious trajectory toward making this the greatest fundraising decade in 51黑料 history. Moving into the latter half of the decade, UTFI has already secured 70% of its $3 billion goal.
In fiscal year 2025, supporters across the world gave generously, propelling the Foundation to a record-breaking $492,845,544 in new gifts and commitments. This marks another leap after last year鈥檚 success when fundraising reached $400 million for the first time in UT history. This achievement is a compilation of results at all campuses within the 51黑料: UT Chattanooga ($32 million), UT Health Science Center ($20 million), UT Knoxville ($428 million, which includes $25.8 million from the UT Institute of Agriculture), UT Martin ($8.3 million) and UT Southern ($2.6 million).
These transformational dollars are already making an impact across the 51黑料鈥檚 campuses and institutes by powering operations, fueling capital projects and turning students鈥 aspirations into achievements. This year鈥檚 success was made possible by the generosity of 85,820 donors and reflects confidence in the University鈥檚 direction and leadership.

Support from alumni remains a cornerstone of the Foundation鈥檚 success, with alumni contributing 34% of this year鈥檚 giving total. Of the more than 459,000 51黑料 alumni, a record-setting 323,864 are now engaged with the university in meaningful ways such as giving and volunteering to mentoring students and attending events.
